The goalkeeper AI, while better than previous FIFA games, still has room for improvement. Additionally, the refereeing in the game tends to be harsh and inConsistent, with players easily accumulating yellow and red cards. This can sometimes be frustrating and lead to forfeiting games. There are some new and interesting features in FIFA 09. The Adidas Live Season allows players to download real-time form of players in various leagues, providing a dynamic experience for online games. The "Be a Pro" mode now allows control of 10 players per team, an improvement from the previous limit of 5. The "Be a Pro Carrier" mode has also been extended to four seasons, providing more longevity to gameplay. The influence of height and weight on player position battles adds an extra layer of strategy. The soundtrack, as always, is diverse and filled with many enjoyable songs. In conclusion, FIFA 09 is a highly addictive game that delivers on its promises. It is definitely worth the money, providing hours of entertainment. However, the goalkeeper AI and refereeing issues can be frustrating for some players.
