M-Wave Lighting Parts & Accessories Editorial Review

The M-Wave Quick Release Light Holder is a useful accessory for cyclists who want to attach front lights onto their front skewers, freeing up space on their handlebars. The mount replaces the original nut on the quick release, and it should fit onto the original bike skewer. The majority of customers found the accessory easy to install, and it held their lights securely in place. Only a few customers encountered problems with their light slipping down, especially when riding on rougher roads or trails. To prevent slippage, one customer wrapped the light holder with silicone tape, which solved the problem. Overall, the product receives positive feedback from customers, who appreciate how the mount solves the problem of having lights protruding unnecessarily from their handlebars. It is sturdy and does a good job of keeping lights visible ahead, while making them less blinding for any other riders in the pace line. Customers also appreciate that the light mount is lightweight and, in some cases, purchase additional ones for their back wheel. One crucial aspect is that some customers perceive the mount to be a little cheesy, given that it is hollow and has no end cap.
