They have a vintage look that makes them the perfect drop-in replacement for guitars such as PRS SE and ESP Ltd EC-256. Although initially tricky to figure out, once installed, these locking tuners work great and hold tune much better than stock tuners. The only downside is that the instructions can be vague, and in the case of the ESP Ltd EC-256, the washers that come with the tuners are too thick, making installation more difficult.
