Tiffen Neutral Density Filters 49ND9 Editorial Review

The Tiffen 55mm Neutral Density 0.9 Filter is a decent filter, but not the best for true ND photography. It works well for photography but not for videography due to its fixed ND filters. It reduces the exposure by 3 stops only, making it not suitable for longer exposures. For serious long exposures, it is recommended to use a 6 or 9-stop filter. The filter may or may not fit the lens, depending on the diameter of the lens. The filter is prone to scratches, and stacking it does not affect sharpness. While it may help with water shots, it adds a green hue to the footage, which is challenging to fix in post-processing.
