The mats are made of a soft fabric material that is "cushy" and lightweight which makes them easy to move around. Additionally, both sides of the mats are identical so you can work on either side. This means that the mats do not have a "sticky" surface, but are still excellent at keeping your beads and other craft materials in place. Customers praise this product for keeping larger stones, beads and even buttons in place whilst working on crafting projects. However, smaller beads (such as those in Diamond paintings) may still need careful attention. Whilst some potential customers have expressed concern about the size of these pads being too small for their needs, unfortunately no larger sizes are available. However, customers have been satisfied with the quality of the mats and their effectiveness at keeping project materials in place.
