- EASY TO APPLY: First, remove the rust, oil stains and foreign substances from the base surface, and wait until the surface is completely dry, then use a brush to apply the rust converter evenly onto the surface. For the best results, apply the coating in thin layers. After the first layer is applied, allow it to dry for 24 hours to form a protective film, then apply the next layer.
