Sammy's Science House is an educational program aimed at children aged 3-7. The program covers basic science concepts such as counting, sorting and sequencing. The program was first published in 1995, but it doesn't seem that any improvements have been made since then. The window for the game is small, making it hard to see, and the graphics and animations are outdated and not very interactive. While a child can click around to sort and sequence, the program doesn't explain much to satisfy a child's curiosity. However, despite the shortcomings of the program, many parents and grandparents have found it to be an engaging and worthwhile educational tool for their children/grandchildren. Some reviewers have noted that it keeps kids engaged for long periods of time while they learn new things - particularly when it comes to computer use and basic science concepts. Others have cited it as a great birthday present or an easy-to-use way to entertain their children.
