The novel is filled with intricate details and scientific concepts, although the author's understanding of genetics raises some doubts. While the story is engaging, the genetic manipulations described seem too precise and technologically advanced to be plausible. Additionally, the depiction of epigenetics and its effects on phenotype is deemed unrealistic. Despite these shortcomings, "Seveneves" is a captivating read.
